Dead trees, impenetrable underbrush, unfamiliar plants covering the ground, newly open areas where trees once stood — these are just some of the symptoms of the ecosystem change wrought by invasive plants in recent years. Our woodlands need our help. In our Nation’s Capital, DC Woodlands is tackling this opportunity through volunteer efforts, public education and advocacy.
